Readers’ Best Awards – Vote for Your Favorite Books of 2023!

New for 2023! We invite you to share the best new books that you’ve read this year with us.

Your vote will help us determine our Englewood Honor Books, our selection of the best books of 2023, which will be rolled out in the month of December in our Advent calendar format. The highest ranking book among our readers also will be awarded The Englewood Review of Books 2023 Readers’ Best award, and the next several titles will be honored as runners up.

Only one ballot per email address will be counted.
Authors are permitted to vote (once) for their own book.
Only books with an initial publication in 2023 will be eligible to win

As we are approaching the end of 2023, please consider making a year-end donation to support the work of The Englewood Review of Books and our mission of cultivating the culturally essential habits of reading and conversation. The ERB is an initiative of Englewood Community Development Corp. (Indianapolis), a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Any donation you make is tax-deductible.

C. Christopher Smith is the founding editor of The Englewood Review of Books. He is also author of a number of books, including most recently How the Body of Christ Talks: Recovering the Practice of Conversation in the Church (Brazos Press, 2019). Connect with him online at:
