Background
Many authors and publicists want to see their book covered on The Englewood Review of Books website, the leading book news / reviews outlet for Christian readers. In fact, we get hundreds of inquiries every week — more inquiries than we could ever possibly respond to. So, how does one get their book reviewed or covered on our site?
Reviews
First, it is important to note that our primary focus in covering books is new books. (90% of the books we cover have been released in the last three months, and we almost never review a book that is over a year old). A crucial first step toward getting your new book reviewed by us is to send us a print copy of it. Our reviewers prefer to work with print books, and sending us a copy of the book ensures that we will see the book and consider it for review. While we still receive too many print books to respond personally to each one, we do take a careful look at each book we receive and decide whether it would be relevant to our readers. Have a copy of the book sent to:

Publishing a review is also contingent on us finding a reviewer who will read the book and write a thoughtful review of it. Sometimes if we cannot find a reviewer, we will find another way to cover the book, but we also have limited capacity for that kind of coverage.
Currently (as of Summer 2023), we receive dozens of books every week, and we run less than five carefully-curated reviews every week. We realize that there are many good books that, for one reason or another, we cannot cover.
Paid Promotion
In addition to reviews and other editorial coverage of new books, we also offer a wide range of paid promotional opportunities to help you get your book in front of our readers. These opportunities include eblasts (sending an email about your book directly to our email list of 9000+ readers), ads on our website or email list, sponsored posts, and more.
