A new year brings another wave of new books… more books than any one person could possibly read! Since many of our readers are church leaders — either clergy or lay leaders in their congregations — we decided to put together the following list of twelve of the most important new books of 2025 for congregational leaders.
These books deal with some of the most pressing challenges and some of the greatest opportunities that churches will face in the coming year. Some of these books may not be of interest to you, but we bet that most church leaders will find at least a few books here that they will want to be sure to read!
